It is a red breasted parakeet the best that I can determine. I am a telephone volunteer with Safe Wings Ottawa and we received a call about this bird. When she tried to grab it to get it contained, it flew up into the tree. It is about 10 feet off of the ground now the location is behind confederation high school at 1645 Woodruff Ave. on the right hand side of the property in the backyard.
