Régis est un petit oiseau sage, affectueux et intelligent. Il est gentil mais réservé avec les étrangers. Il n'attaque pas mais mord si un étranger tente de le prendre contre son gré. Il mange un mix de légumes et de germinations dans le jour + moulée à volonté, 1-2 c. soupe de grains le soir, prends son bain dans l'évier ou son bol d'eau. Il est sorti entre 2 et 12 heures par jour. Il dort bien avec ou sans couverture sur sa cage et aime les câlins avant le coucher.
La propriétaire doit malheureusement trouver une nouvelle famille car elle sent Régis malheureux. Au début, la propriétaire qui désirait l'oiseau pour elle, avait une super belle relation avec Régis. Depuis 1 an, la situation a changé et se dégrade. L'oiseau s'est malheureusement épris du membre de la famille qui n'a aucun intérêt pour lui, ce qui frustre l'oiseau beaucoup et le rend agressif avec cette personne qui l'ignore. La propriétaire peut le manipuler sans problème même si elle n'est pas l'élue, mais elle en est venue à la conclusion qu'il serait sûrement plus heureux avec une famille qui saura répondre à ses besoins et où il finira ses jours. L'oiseau a testé négatif aux 4 maladies lors de l'adoption.
La raison de la mise en adoption :
L'adoptant sera une personne seule avec qui l'oiseau aura un déclic ou avec expérience auprès de cette espèce. Idéalement, l'adoptant devra avoir d'autres oiseaux de son gabarit. Régis ne doit pas être le seul oiseau dans la maison, car il a tendance à s'attacher à une seule personne. Dans le but d'éviter un stress supplémentaire à l'oiseau, il vient avec sa cage et ses effets personnels. Il n'y a aucun frais d'adoption, seul son bonheur importe. Cependant, nous serons très sélectifs pour la famille.

Habits and personality: (text based on information provided by the current owner)
Regis is a small wise, affectionate and intelligent bird. He is kind but reserved with strangers. He does not attack but bites if a stranger tries to grab him against his will. He eats mixed vegetables and sprouts in the day + pellets at all time, 1-2 table spoon of seeds in the evening, take his bath in the kitchen sink or in his water bowl. He is let out between 2 and 12 hours a day. He sleeps well with or without a blanket on his cage and loves cuddling before bedtime.
The owner must unfortunately find a new family because she feels Regis is unhappy. At first, the owner who wanted the bird for herself had a great relationship with Regis. For the past year, the situation has changed and deteriorated. The bird unfortunately fell in love with the family member who has no interest in him, which frustrates the bird a lot and makes him aggressive with this person who ignores him. He lets the present owner handle him without any problems, even if she is not the chosen one, but she came to the conclusion that he would surely be happier with a family that will meet his needs and where he will end his days. The bird tested negative to the 4 avian diseases at the adoption.
Reason for placing in adoption:
The adopter will be a single person with whom the bird will have an instant bond or an experienced family that knows all about this species. Ideally, the adopter must have other birds of his size. Regis should not be the only bird in the house because he tends to get attach to one person. In order to avoid additional stress to the bird, he comes with his cage and belongings. There is no adoption fee for this bird, only his happiness matters. However, we will be very selective for the family.
