Picture or poster :My husband was going out to his car to leave for an appointment when he saw this bird on his car. I'm not an expert but it looks like a budgie to me and was used to humans as my husband was able to approach it before it flew into our maple tree. It stayed in the maple tree for about 10-15 minutes while I posted the pictures I'd taken on facebook but by time I got dressed to go back outside he was gone again.
This was on Upper Debert River Road and he looked scared and cold. I have had a lot of people tell me to put out a bird cage with bird seed but I do not have a cage or seed, or know anyone personally who keeps birds as pets. I have to leave for work and he has since flown off and I see no sign of him anywhere.
I was just hoping to get this post out so it would reach his owners in case they were looking for him. If I see him again I will do my best to try and catch him in something temporarily.
