BIRD SIGHTING - #OTTAWA, ON - June 22, 2017

I was playing with my kids at Sandy Hill Park (the one behind the comunity centre) and noticed a yellow and green budgie hanging out. Little guy looked a bit lost but appeared to be calm enough and was chilling with some sparrows.
If you are the proud owner of a wayward bird, check the west side of the park, just below the concrete steps leading to the playground.

BUDGIE SIGHTING - #OTTAWA, ON - June 22, 2017

Hey, I just wanted to let you guys know that I saw a budgie in Sandy Hill park (the one behind the Sandy Hill CC on Somerset St East yesterday. It appeared to be very calm and somewhat approachable; it didn't try to get away until my young kids got pretty close. It looked to be in good shape and could fly just fine. I saw it on the west side of the field, near where the stairs go up to the children's play area. I was told I should let you guys know in case anyone is missing a feathered friend!
