We heard loud squeaking noises this afternoon and when I looked around, I noticed an African grey parrot on the edge of a 5th floor balcony hanging out. We tried luring him to no avail. I knocked on the apartment door and no one was home so I wasn't able to get at him. He finally flew away and landed on a tree with other, native birds.
I wasn't able to get any nearer to try to catch him. If you're in the area and have lost your friend, he's around and alive as of June 24th. He's quite vocal, so if he's yours, you should be able to track him down by hearing.
